Positives and Negatives of Screen time
There have been many studies conducted on screen time in the past years, with mixed responses and discoveries. Many studies find negative mental health effects of using screens such as depression, anxiety, and brain fog, while some are more positive outcomes including creativity.
While being on our devices allows us to talk to and connect with others it can also cause us to feel isolated and alone. A study found that young people who were using their computers more had increased levels of anxiety and depression, but this may have been related to the amount of time people were spending alone.
